So if ya'all (I am in Texas) know of any dealers along the next 500 miles that have been kind to full timers and or itinerant travelers please let me know. We are going to have to stop someplace for a couple of days to get some repairs done.

    Dallas,
Could the water heater issue be related to what the manual calls "deration"? I'm not positive what altitude is "high".

From my Reflection 2017 manual (page 104) :
    High altitude deration
Operation of the water heater at high altitudes may require
derating. If the water heater is not properly derated, lack of
sufficient oxygen for combustion may produce improper burner
operation. Pilot outage caused by burner lift-off or sooting
from a yellow burner may occur, indicating the possibility of
carbon monoxide. You may also notice a lack of efficiency in
heating the water because of incomplete combustion of the
burner at these higher altitudes. Consult with a local propane
company, your dealer or the water heater manufacturer for
proper derating of the water heater. Change out of the orifice
(derating) should be done by the dealer or a qualified service
    agency.

Most definitely. "Pilot outage caused by burner lift-off " Essentially when it goes to light it just blows itself out, then when no heat is produced it goes into failure mode and must be reset. Now that I know the correct term I can better communicate with a repairman.

Thanks for putting me in touch with Chris. Dummy me, I didn't get signed up for the San Antonio GD rally, that would have been super, they are sold out now but I may swing by to see what's going on.

Essentially Chris, GD technician has agreed to meet us at Braunig Lake RV Resort to look at the motor. So we are going to beat feet tomorrow and meet with him on Wednesday. Having a GD tech look at our Momentum, that is something I never expected. First words out of his mouth was bad cable in the MyRv system.

Thank you all for your quick responses and suggestions, we now have a plan. I suspect I will still need to find a repair facility that can squeeze us in, but at least the process is started.
