    What Hitch For 150 Series

I will be purchasing a Reflection 150 Series 295RL soon and was wondering what hitch brand/model would work with Turn Radius Pin Box (Turning Point).

    I have a Ford F250 6.7 Diesel short bed 6"6".

    Thanks

Any “traditional” non-sliding hitch will work. The turning point pin box will have a wedge that fits into the back of the hitch to prevent the trailer pin from rotating in the hitch and allowing the pivot point to be further back within the pin box. Hitches by Curt or Reese are probably the lightest and simplest to operate. The B&W Patriot is heavier, but is made in the US.

We just set up our 295 RL with our F150. The dealer installed a PullRite 20K hitch as part of the purchase. Haven't towed very many miles yet, but all is well so far.

Just note that B&W, while highly rated, states that their warranty will be void if used with a "Revolution" (wedge) style pin box. I just happen to have a spare Reese hitch sitting in my garage, check the for sale listings, if interested ....

I use the Curt A16 and have been happy with it. Not too heavy and easy to remove and reinstall. I got the Curt wedge which is designed for this hitch. I thought the universal wedge that comes with the pin box seem to have some play in it.

Any hitch should work. Just make sure the wedge fits tight.

We have the same setup as Bogen2, works great, turning radius is excellent, make sure to get the curt wedge and not use the lippert wedge

The Reese Titan R20 will work too. Reese recommends getting their custom wedge as well. I have the hitch and love it. However I currently use it in the standard configuration as I have a long bed and don't need the turning point feature currently.
