In Canada, tank re-certification means removing the valve for internal tank inspection, replacing with a new valve and re-stamping the date on the tank. (Stickers don't qualify). Cost is about 2/3 the price of a new tank, so unless you happen to live close to a re-cert facility, is really not worth it.

Both my 7.5 gallon horizontal tanks are 19 years old. $10.50 /per tank to re-cert.

There is no such thing as a "supplied battery".

They get delivered with no batteries on board. It is a dealer supply item.

The delivery company has their own for the breakaway switch while hauling them.

Supplied meaning whoever installed the battery on my RV. This would be the dealer. I may have a new battery or I may not.

What makes you think your dealer pulled the old switcheroo ? How do you know that GDRV did not get a batch of old tanks ? Jerry's feedback on this will be interesting.

Yep, due for a new RV. Works for me, hahahaha.

You should check the date code on your battery, if in date look it up on the manufacturer web site

There is no date code on my battery. So far I am in my third season for my RV and the battery still gets me through the night after charging at 40F. Its just a general statement since many complain that their "supplied" battery did not hold up. My TT came with a Deka 75ah deep cycle battery.

Hi Dan - Cate & I have actually talked about that .
But . . . we’ve nearly got this one perfect! Disc brakes, new & improved water system, front compartment workshop, automatic lights in most cabinets, just replaced all the carpeting . . . and so on. I just can’t even think of starting over

OMG, we feel the same way. We'd lose a ton of money on mods and really can't afford a new trailer PLUS everything I would want to do to that one! This one will have to last until we're done RVing. But, that's okay because, even though we can get excited about newer features, none of them would be worth the cost.

To be honest, the only things I really get excited about the newer models are the slide floors are flush when open and the auto-leveling might be nice.

I just had a TN dealer tell me that the TN DOT had a 10 year limit, so it may vary by state.
