Slide toppers
Getting ready to pull the trigger on a new Reflection 337. I wanted slide toppers on all 3 slides, the dealer stated that due to having a 2nd awning they could not add a topper to that slide, anyone else have that issue?

Don and Brenda - Have a read through this thread. The 303 and the 337 are very similar. A slide topper on the curb side slide is definitely doable. https://www.mygrandrv.com/fo...t=slide+topper

Just recently got a 303 and added slide toppers to all of the slides, including the one with the second awning.

As a FYI.
One thing I found is when asking questions for a repair, installation, etc (slide toppers)
The people writing the request, or the parts people really don’t know if something can be done, example the slide topper on the crub side 303, 337 due to the force awning.
When I had my toppers done, the service writer said it could not be done, curb side do to the awning.
The service mgr walked by, and I asked him, why can’t the topper be added, and showed him pictures I got off this forum. He looked at me and said, we can do it, do it all the time. I will put it on now if you still want it..
The tech’s installing the topper said, always ask to talk to us guys in the shop doing the work. Parts/service writer do not have all the knowledge the tech have, and don’t have the answers so they will say no. He felt, they most likely lose business do to this also.

Could a slide topper be put on a 297RSTS kitchen slide? Awning is really close as it pretty much touches the top of the slide which concerns me as far a possibly ripping or wearing it early.

I learned this from @Hunter70 that this can not be done. The awning will rest on or not be able to go over the slide topper.

Stupid question, do I need to...
