Just checked. They show 4400 pounds on both axles.

Hmmm . . . GDRV has no use for old parts that they have to scrap out and they have never (to my knowledge) asked anyone else to do this. They are certainly not going to pay to have this "scrap steel" shipped from Florida to Indiana. Methinks your dealer has another plan for your parts . . .

Methinks like Rob thinks. The cost of shipping those quite heavy steel parts would be very high, especially for a manufacturer that can't put them on a new trailer.
When GDRV sent me 4 replacement brake assemblies to replace the greased ones, they sent manually adjustable units. I called and let them know self adjust was what came on the trailer. They sent 4 more assemblies out, self adjusting. When I asked what they wanted me to do with 4 loaded backplates I was told I could sell 'em or toss 'em, it cost more to ship them than what they paid for them.

I talked to GD and they said they didn't want the parts back. So I figured that I would ask for them when they finished the install.
Just had my axles springs and wheels and tires replaced. I added the MORryde system and the dealer told me that they had to take a picture of the replacement parts installed and send it to GD. She said it would be 1 hour/$160 charge to replace the MORryde system. I told her to go ahead and do it. She finished and comped it. So I didn't haggle about getting the tires/wheels back2019 GMC 2500 HD Denali

The trip home was noticeably smoother with the MORryde system.

I'm glad it all worked out for you and the MORryde gives a better ride. GD shipped the new 2,200 pound springs to me so I need to get busy putting them on plus the MORryde and wet bolts. They approved for Blue Dog RV to install the springs but I plan on doing it myself since I want to check wheel bearings and the brakes while I have it apart. Also plan on dropping the coraplast to look at the wiring and plumbing. I'm sure the wiring could be cleaned up. I will follow up with pictures when I start this project which should be interesting.
