Mini Cooper launched off ramp with Tomahawk cruise missile
The guy that invented the Lowpro Lockdown that I use to secure my generator, is one of those mad scientist super genius types.
His name is Terry Stroud and he's invented some other cool stuff, some of which he sells, but most projects are just for fun.
A few years ago he got hold of the booster from a Tomahawk cruise missile. Booster? Engine? Whatever you call the part that propels it.
Anyway he built a 60 foot ramp and launched a Mini Cooper about a quarter mile. Just for fun.
I like when the camera man pans over to the guy dressed like a referee, showing the "touchdown" sign.
LOL
The first video is Terry and his friends, the 2nd video is the official, better quality video from the TV show Master Blasters.
