Thanks for checking into this, yattr0. I will probably give the WackO a try; if it really is a 8 db difference, that is pretty significant. And, it is a lot better than spending $800+ for a new Coleman Mach unit

I have one on order from RVupgrades. Same price as WackO but free shipping. It arrives Tuesday and I’ll make a few before and after dB measurements. Hopefully it will be near the 8-10dB.

It Works!
Bought the product from RVupgrades versus direct from WackO to save on shipping costs ($20). RVupgrade purchase process was simple but order reamain at “in process” for a quite a few days before recieving a shipment notification. Shipment was UPS.
The instructions that came with the unit were for Coleman and not Dometic. I watched the YouTube video for Dometic. Installation is very simple and can be easily completed in less than 30 minutes.
There is a reasonable degree in noise reduction ~ 7dB (fan high duct). All measurement were taken from the theater seating middle armrest in a 337RLS.
Ambient ...........................................46 dB A-weighted slow average
Dometic cover fan high dump open .....77
Dometic cover fan low dump open ...... 74
Dometic cover fan high dump closed ... 71
Dometic cover fan low dump closed .... 69
Wacko fan high ................................ 64
Wacko fan low ................................ .63

Hey yttr0 - that sounds about like I was hoping for! Thanks for testing and posting the results. I also tested db levels in a friends new 315RLTS with quiet Coleman machs - the results were in the mid-60 range for both high and low speed settings. You have just saved me a lot of money!

Glad it worked out well. My make shift baffle I did was ok but not this effective.
I only have a rear AC and therefore can not use the front AC while in the rear and via versa. Saves me money too. I should be able to get by with what I have. We might use the AC during the peak heat of the day but open up once it cools down. With fans in all the vents we can keep the coach cool without much difficulty once the outside temps drops.Current;

Can you tell if it restricts airflow in any way? Also, negating the air dump capability is a little concerning, but it will be worth it with the noise reduction.

I just placed an order for the WackO DA100 through RVUpgrades.com to get the free shipping like you did, yattr0. Once received, I will also post before/after db levels. Thanks again for posting your results!

Ok - installed the WackO DA100 cover today, and achieved about the same results that you found, yattr0, I saw a 8db difference on high in our 230RL under the Dometic cover with the WackO installed. Sitting in the recliner, there was a 10db difference! This puts the noise of the Dometic about where the standard sound level of the Coleman Machs are in the late 2018/2019 Reflections. The only downside is that it negates the air dump capability; however, more airflow is forced through the other vents. At this point, I consider this a success! I can't wait until this summer to really test this thing out.
