    Stereo upgrade.

Anyone ditch the cheap Jensen stereo for a home theater Receiver and a traditional DVD player? Was thinking of running it of of an inverter along with the TV, I figure 1000 watts should do it. I have looked for a better RV DVD player but I just cant find one that I like, must have HDMI output for the TV, dual zone and Bluetooth. Your thoughts on this, thanks.

Yes I have thought about doing this, already gave the inverter, thinking even a base line Denon would give me exponentially better should than my stock Furion unit. Just haven't gotten around to it. I'm sure it'll be a slippery slope of new Denon followed by new speakers etc lol

Yep. Samsung smart TV and soundbar with Bluetooth sub. Sony Bluray. Replaced cabin speakers with some Alpines I had laying around. The Furrion stereo is mostly used as a clock. No inverter yet.

Thought about it, decided it was too much trouble. Added a nice LG soundbar with wireless sub, and use our Xbox for DVDs and Blue-ray (and games).

Furrion makes nice clocks that’s about it.

We never use the Furrion, not even for the clock, lol. We have upgraded the sound in the coach similarly to everyone else that has responded with decent sound, TV's and blu-ray player. Outside, I use a Bose soundock. I believe the factory installs something that simply functions, which suits most folks anyway. Personally, I'm glad to not be paying more for stuff that I would replace or bypass anyway. No way they can please everyone when it comes to entertainment systems.

Sounds like the soundbar might be just the ticket.

Cant believe the quality of the Bose Soundock. It is amazing!

That's the one that Bose stopped selling about five years ago, right?

I'm not sure they stopped selling it or came out with an upgrade which I believe they did with a blue tooth model. The sound is incredible.

Could you post a link to the device if it's currently available? When I google "bose sounddock" the first few links report that it is no longer sold, including Bose's site which says they stopped selling it in 2013.

I got this for my wife 2-3 years ago to play her cell phone through it:

    http://www.amazon.com/Bose-SoundLink.../dp/B00HWSXVDG

Its sound is very good for such a small package, but it's a long way short of "incredible" and it's not trailer-filling good sound. It too has now been discontinued by Bose.

    The quest continues...
