@warsw1 and @DMB--IMHO you both have valid points.
A Westlake (or any tire brand) that is slowly coming apart (internally) will fail suddenly and inexplicably to an outside observer. We've read enough occurrences on this forum alone to validate that is true. A TPMS does not help because it does not have the ability to detect a tire that is structurally failing.
A TMPS will tell you when there's a slow leak due to a road hazard. I personally learned that because I'd checked my air pressure on my dually the day prior but when I got in my vehicle the next morning I was alerted pressure had dropped on an inside rear tire. Without that TPMS alert I'd have driven off on a low-pressure tire. (Turns out I had picked us a screw.)
