My main living room TV also has a bad picture, but only when viewing cable, it is fine for over the air. I am assuming my booster is bad and will replace next season to see if it corrects the problem.

I am really sorry I cannot help with the subject matter, but where I am living now snow on the TV would be a bad thing, that would mean the front cap has fallen off. Sorry, couldn't resist, I wish you well with your reception problems.

I found a cable connector behind the radio/DVD player that had been crimped with the wrong crimper. The crimp collar had a nice hexagonal shape, but I could pull the connector off and put it back on with my fingers.
Once properly crimped reception improved dramatically.Mark - 2018 Solitude 310GK - 2017 F-350 diesel SRW short box - Pullrite Superglide hitch

Great to here. This is one challenge with these new units , they put like 100 connections behind walls and cupboards and floors. The problem is you have to find them all and fix them.

I replaced all the connector on mine. They are easy to get to.
