I have an old Bear Cat balsa kit that was started years ago, probably I will never finish. If any one is interested let me know.

Which Bearcat kit is it, do you remember the manufacturer? Size?

Top Flite F8F-2 Bearcat kit 60". In a red box. Got from a friend when we were flying, it was his dad's. When his dad passed he gave it to me and some old radios and a 80" Cub.

Top Flite has always done good kits. It’s not always easy going in to finish a kit that’s been partially built, but that would make a good flyer. Is it shipable or has too much been built?
    Take care,

The fuselage is mostly built so it will not fit back in box. Haven't seen it in a while so I will check it out when I get some time.

Gotta be somebody in PA who would love to finish that. If I were going to be upthat way, I’d be sorely tempted Biggest problem now is so few people building since ARF's have gotten so popular.

I should probably just put my nose to the grind and finish it, at least to hang for a display. I have 2 other newer kits that I have not even started. Funny how life provides these little things that get you off track. But I may try to get back to it. Thanks for the interest.

Very accurate on the ARFs since folks are so busy today. But those kit planes will take far more punishment. They are heavier also but that's a good reason to install big power.

Flying Rc for close to 45 years and also own a 172n. Leaving in the upstate of South carolina I spend a good amount of time at Triple Tree where I am one of their aviators.

I’m jealous! You must know Jim Malek well then.
