    OK guys . . . Even though this is in the “way off topic” section and doesn’t have anything to do with our RVs, it has gone from recognizing a passing, to current politics. We don’t do politics on this forum . . . for good reason.

    Bush was an honorable man and I always have more respect for presidents that actually served their country by being in the military.
    It should be a requirement.

    All politics aside, George H.W. Bush served this country for a very long time and with conviction. He was, in my mind, a true patriot and an honorable man. He had grit. How else could you describe a man that accepted the mantle of Republican national chairman at the behest of Nixon during Watergate? That took guts but he knew he was the man for the job. His stand for civil rights as a young senator in Texas was another example of his commitment to his convictions.


    He will be missed.
