Water heater leak at drain plug
I removed the drain plug from our water heater to drain it at the end of the summer season. After reinstalling it this week, it has a slow leak. I had it pretty snug but tightened it a bit more and it still leaks. Can you use Teflon tape on these plastic plugs? Not sure what else I could do.

Yes, teflon tape is suggested for these.

It is a good practice to install a new plug at every removal. Sometimes the old plug works for multiple times, sometimes not. Not worth the maybe-it-will-work headache. A package of two plugs usually costs between $5 and $10

X3 on teflon tape and having a spare plug just in case. Been using it for four seasons with the plastic plug on our 303. I drain after every trip out unless using water system/water heater in next week or so. Probably been removed and installed 25 or so times. Have used TT with all our prior RVs too.
Also, removing while pressurized (no longer hot water for obvious reasons) does a nice job of blowing out sediment at bottom of tank that will not come out with simply removing with no pressure. I usually let Carol do it !

If going the replacement route, just make sure you know the size of the plug, as these "Camco 11630 Water Heater Drain Plug - Pack of 2 " are NOT what fit my reflection

I put a drain on my water heater. Went through a couple of iterations based on advice to avoid galvanic corrosion between a brass plug and the aluminum tank. See post 24 and related discussion on this thread. https://www.mygrandrv.com/fo...840#post182840
