First thing I did was turn off the double honk (when getting out of truck with keys in pocket) and turning on police mode (can't put in gear without a key sensed by truck). I leave for work at 0430--I'm sure my neighbors appreciate that my truck doesn't honk anymore when I inevitably go back in the house for something I forgot. Removed Sirius from the audio menu, too, as I don't subscribe.

Can I initiate a regen on my 2018 GM? Man, that would be the bomb. As another followup on my own situation, when I went home night before last, it went into a regen. Only got 7 miles on it before I got home. We left this morning for Grassy Key, and at a light at 20.7 miles it quit the regen. Obviously the injector software update did nothing to fix the frequent regens. Drove 250 miles today, most if which was highway pulling our 337. Even in stop and go driving it had not given the signs of another one. Sure as I'm typing this, it will do one when we go the the store tomorrow or Tuesday. I had never considered a DPF delete before, but now......

Hey David, you might dig around the duramax forums (http://www.dieselplace.com) for some info. I go there for my '05 Dmax stuff but it's non-DPF and totally deleted, then I bought an F350 so paying no attention to the new GM stuff (until I go back from whence I came - GM).
