    Duel Tires on RV

On our holiday trip we passed a guy towing a Mountain Aire 5th wheel probably in the 35-40 ft range. What caught my eye was the duel tires all around on the RV. They were inset to the RV body so were not sticking out beyond the side. From what I could see the RV suspension looked beefy as heck! He was towing with a Ford F450. I guess he doesn't have any problems with bent axles, broken hangers or blown tires because of weight. Just guessing.

That got me to thinking, I wonder if the Solitude or Momentum could be manufactured with duel tires on the RV? Just one of those things that makes you're mind tingle!
The Mountain Aire seems to be the top of the line in 5th wheels, at least the price for them says so. I guess you can build them good, or build them better.

I did examine a Mountain Aire with the dual tires a number of years ago. The wheel wells extended into the living area but the external storage compartments where like a motor home. If GD tried to do this I'm not certain that tire wells into the interior area would sell. I would like the idea until I had to replace the extra four tires.
