Axle alignment and tire wear

Thanks for your prompt reply.

One would think that if I hit a large pot hole the spindle would be bent up and therefore the wear would be on the inner tread not the outer tread.

Lippart has agreed to send me a replacement but not cover the labor to put it in.

Hi Rodell,

I would agree with the opinions expressed here that the tire wear you have seen is most likely from an axle manufactured incorrectly. Good to hear that Lippert is stepping up with a new axle. Because of the low mileage (and LCI providing the new axle) you might consider contacting GDRV about covering the invoice for the labour to replace the axle. Just a thought . . .
