If it is a Greystone fire place the control board can be replaced. Take it out and call Greystone to be sure youu get the correct one. We replaced ours (2014 Reflection) after it burned out...that tell tale smelly ele stink. It was an easy fix and if I recall less than $25

I think I read in your other post that you have a 2014 Reflection. Back then, they were using a Greystone brand fireplace. They are not the same as Furrion.

Parts will not intermingle between the two.

I had a similar experience with my Greystone fireplace, and it was a connector on the heater that burned off. Replaced with new high temp connectors and it works again.
I was in error by referring to the fireplace as a Furrion. I thought Furrion and Greystone were synonymous. In any event, we did call the correct phone number, Greystone. Thanks for the correction though!

I experienced the same issue with my Greystone fireplace, bright flash, burning smell and smoke from the wire insulation being on fire. Pulled it out and unplugged it. I'm glad I was sitting there could of been replacing the camper! It's out of warranty so I guess no help on this.

I too had a failure, sizzling wires, flames, and the odor that comes with that. Thank goodness it's a fully contained unit! HOWEVER, this was my replacement, and I'm less than enthused with the aesthetics. Really, pink? What the heck? Yea I'm a girl, but no where in here do I have pink!! Ughhh
