A great campground for Olympic is Whiskey Creek Beach NW, tell them Ian and Ava sent you. We spent from April to Nov there last year. Awesome views, great owners and it’s really convenient to most places on the northern half of the peninsula. We didn’t even try to take the camper to the National Park or DNR campgrounds, tent camped instead. I would suggest as much time as you can for there, tons of great sights to see!

I agree with TahoeTrekker. Stay on the east side as much as possible. Even in Oregon and Washington. The only time to be on the west side would be when at the Coast on 101.
Here is a link to Collier State Park in Oregon. It is a nice close park to Crater Lake. When you are at Crater Lake; circle around on Rim Road clockwise. That puts the pull-off with easy, safe access. Take the time to visit Park Headquarters down below the rim and watch a video about the volcano.
I have been to Crater Lake somewhere between 300 and 400 times. Many of those in the winter as a ski patroller, with maybe 12 feet of snow on the ground. It is an ever-changing place, that is beyond amazing. KEN

The Park was adequate for our purposes ,which were after all to tour in Yosemite, and not spend much time in camp. Access from any direction will require some challenging driving with a fifth wheel. Particularly the stretch west of Groveland on 120 would also check on the roads at that time of year, for sure 120 east AKA Tioga pass should be closed.
The Campground itself has separate areas for members and non members the latter being a stretch of road with minimal separation between rigs and a so-so bathroom facility. Internet access requires driving several miles up the highway and then off the road to get a phone signal. It's about 45 minutes into the valley through 3 tunnels. Tioga pss about the sane but was just opening in late May when we were there.
Sites are limited in the valley, and other commercial options are few2018 Reflection 27RL

On the west side of Yosemite on Hwy 120 there is Yosemite Lakes Park as mentioned before. It is a Thousand Trails campground. Depending upon the time of year you stay they have a shuttle that takes you into the valley. That park is on the south for of the Tuolumne river. It is located in a town called Hardin flat. The main lake used to be the mill pond for the sawmill they had there after WWII. Further down the road just outside of Groveland is another RV park called Yosemite Pines. My brother has stayed there and enjoys it. It seems like a decent park.
On the east side you have June Lake, and then north of Hwy 120 is Lee Vining and Bridgeport and Twin Lakes. Not sure of the sizes of rigs you can get into those.
Enjoy your tripsAllyn & Sue

When we came from the east over Tioga pass on 120 a few years ago in early June, the snow was 4 feet deep in spots. They had just opened the road a few days before.
