New Imagine Owner

Hello All,

I'm about two weeks into ownership of a Grand Design Imagine xls, model 17mke. Far and away the smallest of about ten RVs we have owned over the past 16 years. We drastically downsized from an Open Range 323rls, a wonderful trailer that was 37' with three slides and very capable for the seasonal camping we were doing.

However needs change and we liked the quality and floor plan of the the Imagine xls line, so even though the downsizing has been a challenge we're looking forward to using this trailer in a different way. We looked a a Grand Design that was almost identical to the Open Range when we bought that, but the residential refrigerator and inverter in the OR made the decision for us.

Looking forward to learning about the Grand Design and sharing helpful information with others.

Open Range was one of three brands that were "finalists" in our search for a trailer. I especially like how they finish the front storage area and the extra width/height of their trailers. But this is a forum about GDs, so enough about the OR!
