    New (to us) 2016 337RLS

Hello all. Just took the plunge and picked up a 2016 337RLS. After looking at several new 5th wheels and several used at dealers and suffering sticker shock, Craigs List to the rescue. It was over $10K less than the dealer (used) but, 300 miles away. I can drive a day to save that kind of money.

I will be retiring in March and our first big trip will be in May. A five Week long run through Idaho, Yellowstone, Mt. Rushmore, Deadwood National Park, Devils Tower, etc. Fortunately, we will be traveling with three other experienced couples with their 5th wheels. We will get some short trips in between now and then, though.

Current projects on the trailer include adding the 2nd A/C unit, tire pressure monitoring system , second TV and a quick connect for the camp stove.

Truck projects include adding an auxiliary fuel tank and removal of the rear seat and building a flat platform for the fur babies it ride in comfort.

Congrats on the 337 Rick and Lynn. The 337 is a beautiful camper and you have the truck to pull it! We did just about that same trip when our kids were younger. I am looking forward to doing it again in a couple of years when we retire.

We often camp with other couples and small groups. It just adds to the fun. Maybe we will bump into you in the Black Hills this summer.

    Safe travels!

    Yes, welcome Rick & Lynn!

Somewhat similarly, I acquired my own lightly used 337RLS last week (details in my own intro post), however with plans for use "park model style" vs towed frequently. This floorplan clearly works well and is a popular GD Reflection model whether bought new or used as we did. Here in AZ, no sales tax collected on private party sales transactions, which greatly enhances value for $$ spent...
Current RV: 2017 GD Reflection 337RLS
    Former RVs: 2017 Lance 1685, 2017 Lance 1475, 2011 Lance 1685, 2010 Casita 17SD

Tow vehicle: 2014 Ford F150 S-Cab FX4 6.2L MaxTow (obviously, not for current RV)

Congrats! Your floorplan is very similar to ours and we really like it. Fran especially appreciates the washer and dryer, though it consumes a lot of the trailer's available payload.

You will be glad you have the DRW with the 337. I have SRW and come right up against the max payload if not careful. I have posted CAT Scale results on the forum.

    Enjoy the 337 we do!
