That is a much nicer looking truck. The Chevy is one ugly looking truck but the GMC is pretty sweet.

Now when do they come out with power extending mirrors like Ford has. Not just power folding.

Gary - this more extensive video does show both power folding and extending mirrors at least on the Denali trim. Pretty good video done by an engineer interviewing the lead GMC HD engineer as I recall.

There is much that I like on the new GMC HD trucks based on the limited information of the last few hours/days. Will have to continue researching.

The marketing promo in this video pulling the 225,000 lbs. boat and hoist is attention getting.

Funny they say they are pulling 225,000 lbs but there is no bend to the small bar across the front of the travel lift. But then I guess it wouldn't bend with the travel lift moving under it's own power. To actually be towing it the hydraulic motors would need to be removed to allow the wheels to turn

    Good looking rig.

But the towing spectacles always crack me up.
I Saw a Superduty 1 ton tow a train that was over 500,000 lbs.

With the right gearing you can pull the space shuttle with a Toyota. Has little to do with HP or Torque.

All marketing fun and hype ! When the important towing numbers are released that will be real world important stuff.

It interesting that you can actually see black tire marks from the rear and front tires when starting the pull which would make sense with the weight advertised.
