I would switch to GMC without reservation. I really like the front grill, hood scoop, and wide running boards. I'm tempted to go drive one but that would not be a good thing for me I'm actually a Ford truck guy but I wasn't impressed when I last looked at them in 2015. I'm pretty happy with my Ram (after getting past the half dozen recalls) but I wish they made it easier to access the bed right behind the cab. On the duallys the running boards have been shortened. Makes in hard to lift out a 5 gallon gas can or battery (maybe not for a younger person). The seats, backup sensors/camera, and the auto leveling are my favorite features.

    Cheers,
    Kevin

Looks like GM/Chevy hit it out of the park. I don't mind the look of the Chevy at all. I'll drive my 2016 until the 2021 models come out and then I'll see how I feel. I like to give new models a year to work out the bugs. Allison 10-speed may be hard to beat.

I'm hoping my 2016 Ram last until I get tired of the RV life. After that I’m getting a corvette and a suitcase

Oh.....I actually like the look of the new Chevy and the idea of a 10 speed tranny would be a major plus.

I have owned 8 Silverados since 1997 but I’m pretty sure I’ll be moving on with this truck. The new Chevy is terrible!!!

Hmm... I always thought of Chevy and GMC as basically the same truck. As for actual towing capacity I definitely don’t buy the bs numbers automakers put out. But I do love the idea of the added torque, and it’s definitely about time they upped their game.
