The tree rats at my house have a taste for our satsumas, bottle brush blossoms and DWs flowers.

The only difference between sea gulls and pigeons is that you have to make head shots on a sea gull with a pellet rifle.

those little guys are tough. We had a few in the attic several years ago. Trapped them and then added wire mesh around all of the vents on the roof. Dang things would jump from the deck to the window screen and chewed a hold in the siding to get back in. We were and heard this big bang on the window. There were 3 of them on the window screen. I went up in the attic and made a bunch of noise and when the DW said that all of them were back out we took off the window screen. Was kinda funny to watch these critters jump from the deck to the window glass and bounce off. They're not in the attic any longer, but they have chewed up every eve overhang trying to get back in. I've had to add mess wire to all of the trim to keep them from chewing up the siding. And they're not afraid of us any longer! One will be on the roof and I'll yell at him and he'll yell back!

Squirrels, they're everywhere, in my backyard on the bird feeder at the moment.

My Pomeranian knows the word "squirrel". She can be snoozing in another room but if I say, "There's a squirrel in the yard!" she will race through the doggy door in hot pursuit of her prey. She absolutely refuses them peaceful entry into the yard. When they see her coming the squirrels jump on my privacy fence and race along the top, hell-bent-for-leather, slipping and sliding as they frantically make their way to a tree with my dog in hot pursuit.

She does a good job of keeping them out of the yard but simultaneously makes an ungodly racket. She's a set of vocal cords with four paws. (Sigh.)

My Squirrel Huntress Extraordinaire in her traveling tether, ready for the next camping adventure. Note the rough traveling conditions.
