Back to Verizon for me! I pushed the data to the 15 Gb limit in 2 days. I was trying (12 devices connected and streaming on 5 simultaneously) to hit the limit early to see what happened. It dropped like a ton of bricks. I got text messages from Verizon saying I was running out of 4G data. It truly killed my ability to stream. I will keep it for another day and then if it doesn't magically pick back up again, I will walk back into the store with my head held low. Take my beating on restocking fees and walk back out a broken man! I guess it could be worse. At least I'm not a member of the 2 time or 3 time tow vehicle club! It seems there is a difference between the prepaid plan and the plan I got even though the Verizon guy told me that they don't have a prepaid plan. Oh well. Live and learn.

Keep the 8800L. I think what you want is Verizon plan number 28366

OR...you could keep the 8800L and use a sim from one of these guys for unlimited Internet and be done with all throttling.

I got my device switched over from a post paid plan to a prepaid plan. Yes the plan went up from $20 to $65 but it's still cheaper than my current internet. Shouldn't be any extra fees or charges but we'll see what happens.

yes we have the MiFi 8800L also and love it! We are at a Corp Of Engineer Campground in Southern GA and are way out in the country and we get great signals. We love this prepaid unlimited plan. Cant go wrong!! Tara

Not sure if I should start a new thread for this but here's my question: For those who have a Mifi 8800L on the prepaid plan, what does your data show up as? Mine has stayed at 10240 MB ever since I switched to the prepaid plan. Never changes. See the image below.

I have the older 7730L jetpack, it always shows 10240.00 MB/ 10240 Mb on its screen.
In my online account it shows usage.

My 8800L is like yours, never changes, but mine kind of overwrites something else.

Have you tried an external antenna?
