I just picked up a 3500 standard bed with the factory pucks. I got a B&W companion hitch. They are two pieces so its light enough to get in an out when you need to. I just pulled the new camper home on Saturday. No clearance issues (that I found yet). The previous owner had the same truck and said he never had a problem.

If weight is your concern, go with the Reese GooseBox on your trailer. They have redesigned their units. Otherwise, I'd go with the B&W.

I have been watching this and I will suggest the Reese Titan R20 hitch. It can be broken down to 3 pieces easily for removal and there is no clunk or noise while in use. You can also get a slider kit for it in the future if needed. I did a write up on it if interested.

To the OP, yes it is true that with the Trail Air Rota Flex pin box, it needs to be locked out in order to connect and pull with the AUH, however Anderson sells the lock out kit that consists of 2 metal bars and two bolts and took all of 3-minutes to install.

Did you use the Andersen with the Rotoflex pin box locked out? If so, any noteworthy problems?

We have pulled our 2015 369 with an AUH, with no issues. Easy to remove and install.
