The Class 8 trucks are interesting and from I have seen varies between states on how they are classed. Talk to guy in Missouri that had Class 8 with Smart car behind the cab and he said Missouri allowed him to register the truck as RV since it had a sleeper in the truck. He put "Not For Hire" sign on the door and he was good to go.

The biggest issues I see with this, is getting the family into the cab. It is high...

Chetmist308 the truck is a class 8 and is titled as an RV in Colorado. I had one rear axle removed so I can only have 20K on the rear axle but can pull a 40K trailer non commercial. I have never been into a weight station because of titling. It has bunk beds in the sleeper so my grandson and his friends use it as an private apartment when camping. When we retire soon I will replace the RZR on the truck with our smart car. I am ok on axle weight but hitch is stamped 22K so over on that by 1K. Would never load it this way if not for having the Volvo.

I was wondering , can you turn 90* to the trailer with the RZR on the back? It looks a little tight from this angle.

Apparently fuel mileage has no affect for you. Pulling that RV with a straight up 350 dually would serve its purpose with no problem and get better fuel mileage.

Stimpack if I were to use a 350 pickup where would you put the RZR, extra 120 gals of water, 125 gals of gas, 250 gals of diesel and 200 to 400 lbs of fire wood? Plus have room for six passengers comfortably while they play video games, do homework at the work station and watch movies.

You have a cool rig but I would not like to dive it down town and try to park it at the local mall, I would need to have a smart car, to drive to town. cool rig.
