I picked one up at Harbor Freight, sorry I can't help with the range as it's in the 303 in storage. . .

This is the one that I have. Bought it in 10/15 and still on the original battery.

    Hi Cal,

I have three of these things . One on the boat, one at home and one in the truck/RV. All different "brands" but all work the same way. (I expect that they all come from the same off-shore factory somewhere). Anywhere that you can find one that looks more-or-less like the link posted by Jeff, for a good price . . . you should be good to go.
