TTBOMK tailgates are interchangeable. Find a wrecked truck the same color as yours and swap change the tailgate. It's easy! (At least it is on my 350.)

I would imagine it would be pretty straightforward. Finding the wrecked vehicle with the correct tailgate might be more challenging. A lower cost option might be one of the aftermarket "steps" they have for pickups such as https://www.realtruck.com/amp-research-bedstep/

I've been wondering if the new GM multipro tailgate would be a good alternative for the 5th wheel tailgate.

Right now I swap tailgates from camping to non-camping season.

Not that I am going to be replacing the TV anytime soon... but looks interesting.

Therefore loading and unloading of our truck bed works best when not hooked to the trailer. A tailgate that can be fully opened with the trailer hooked up would be nice.

I think the 323BHS is a fifth wheel.

I use my step in bumper and use the stake pocket to get into the back of my GMC pickup. The step in bumper was an ingenious idea from GM. Simple and functional. For the multi purpose tailgate it really depends on the need. I've looked this tailgate over closely and its well made and could be used for many purposes, but for me, I still use the step in bumper which is larger on the new truck.

Our 2013 F150 had the step. Loved it. They did not spray the tailgate on it.

We insisted on the step on the new 2018 F150. On it the tailgate is sprayed and I like that much better. The new step design is better too.

Great for loading kayaks on the roof racks etc.
