    New bathroom faucets!

One of the things that has bothered me since we got our Solitude 373FB-R two months ago is the bathroom faucets. Grand Design designed this unit with a dual vanity in the main bathroom. Now I don't really get too excited about twin sinks in a bathroom but some people do. The problem is the factory faucets are really cheesy looking. Plus they are too low and sit too far back in the sink bowl.

Initially the faucets didn't bother me enough with my poor plumbing experiences do actually do anything about it but then they started squeaking! I could either take the faucets apart and repair them or just replace them.

I was at Costco today and saw some faucets and although they weren't exactly what I was looking for, they were close enough! I was going to document the swap but I didn't want to embarrass myself. The install was simple but we spent an hour at Lowes trying to figure out which adapter we needed to attach the new faucets with their different sized fitting to the existing water supply line.

Looks great! The faucets they use in these trailers are about as cheap as they can be, plastic all the way through. The first thing I did when I got my new Reflection was to change all of the faucets.

Looks great!! I did the same thing in my Reflection. I also changed the sink as it was just way to small. DW didn't like either so changed them both out.

We took our 2018 303RLS into the Lazy Days in Tucson (where we had a good experience at purchase)...what a disaster!!!

Our faucets were squeaking, wanted them replaced. They said it was a lack of maintenance and charged me to grease the spindles. What can you do, picked up the trailer and went to the Quartzite rally. Two days later the faucets were squeaking. Went to Home Depot, bought a new faucet and spent 10 minutes changing it out!

Emailed Lazy Days asking what the maintenance period should be on the faucets...never got a reply (LOL)

WHAT????? Oh heck no. (There goes my blood pressure again.) If they won't reimburse you the maintenance charge file a complaint with Grand Design.

I bought the sink on Amazon. There are 2 different types, one with overflow and one without. I choose the overflow just in case someone leaves the tap on. No Grandkids yet but thinking ahead to avoid a mess.

    Hope this helps.
