    Imagine 3170BH Vs Transcend 29TBS

Can’t decide. We are really stuck on this one.

    3 kids (7,5,1)
    2 adults.

    Camp locally every 3rd weekend.
Would like to full time for a couple years eventually

    Love aspects of both trailers.

    Imagine
    Better bunk room
    Fiberglass exterior
    Better outdoor kitchen

    Transcend.
    Lighter weight
    Better living room/ kitchen layout.
    Awesome bedroom storage.

Can someone just pick one for me??

    The imagienbis $7k more money

Tow vehicle is not a concern. I’m buying a 1 ton either way.

    Welcome to the forum!

Interesting choices. My .02 is worth just that, but the bathroom in the Imagine--with three kids--means getting to (and from) the master bedroom might mean going outside and then back in the aft door. The placement of the Transcend's bathroom doesn't have this problem. The food maestro in the family will probably appreciate the extra counter space, too, in the Transcend. (At least from the way the floorplan looks online.)

On the other hand, the Transcend doesn't have a pantry. That was a "must have" on our list. No pass-thru storage in the Transcend would have also been a "deal breaker".

But the Transcend has the nice extra closet in the bedroom. The Imagine does not.

    OK, I see your quandary.

Remember it's all about the fun and experiences. I don't think you'll go wrong either way.

You could also consider the Imagine 3000QB, which is a similar layout as the Transcend.

Most of the difference in money is in the construction. Still cheaper to build with wood framing than laminate.
