The first thing I noticed was that it has more fabric to cover a deeper slide. Don't think that I need it but since I couldn't measure the slide depth thought this was a good way forward. Solera also did state that anti-billow stop was not needed, they have one available so I did end up picking that one up. The other one that I was looking at was a Dometic but warranty was only 90 days I think and Solera was 1 year. Solera came with everything to install and many other you had to by the brackets and everything separately. Price was pretty good as well after shopping around.

You can't add the door side awning that is on the slide of a 303 or 337 if it didn't come with it. There are no backers in the walls to hold it.

    Toppers are fine.
Thanks Tom. Makes me feel better now. When you install how close to the gutter do you install so that you screw into the aluminum frame? I want to make sure I hit the frame to make sure it is on secure. I was thinking of going 1/2' to 1' below the gutter.

    Thanks,
    Rob

On your model, go right up against the gutter.

You want an angle on the fabric.

Yours came with the actual gutter/topper rail installed. Trailer versions do not.

I thought the gutter was installed so you could attach directly to it with a topperr?

They are, if you have a 5th wheel

The trailers do not have the separate rails over the slides, just the normal gutters at the roof line.
