Four Tesla Battery Modules do add up to 1,000 amp hours, however, that is 1,000 ah at 24 volts which equates to 2,000 ah at 12 volts. That's like having 20 Battle Born Batteries or 36 - 6 volt Golf Cart Batteries.
As far as how long can you run your Air Conditioners... Battle Born says it takes about 100 ah per hour to run an RV Air Conditioner (at 12 volts). Using the 100 ah as a guide, alanhenson could run his A/C for around 20 hours.
My problem with having that many Tesla Modules in an RV is: how do you charge a 1,000 ah (at 24 volts) battery bank without a Shore Power connection or a very large Generator? Either solution negates the beauty of Boondocking with [silent] Solar Power.
I just installed 1,200 watts of Solar on my 310GK and the four (305 watt) Solar Panels were about all that would fit on the roof. Taking A/C placement, other obstructions and shading into account I don't see how you could place much more than 1800 watts on top of any RV.David and Peggy

Running with 20k Reese Goosebox (Love It) and Ford Factory "Puck" system.
Stopping with 8,000 lb Disc Brakes and Titan Hydraulic over Electric Brakes system.
Powering all this fun with 1200 Watts of Solar, two Tesla, Model S, battery modules, 24 volt Victron Inverter.

I just got it back. 8-360 watt solar panels@48v. I can run all three ACs no problem. Eliminated the 12v system by paralleling 5 victron 48v to 12v converters. Works awesome so far. The Tesla batteries are up against the wall in the side garage. The black box near those yellow top storage bins holds them.

2,880 watts of solar! Nice!
But I thought each roof air used about 1500 watts. So you would need 4500 watts to keep up with the demand of 3 roof airs, and that’s without running anything else.
Have you recorded the actual current draw when running them?

Some of us would rather camp in the middle of nowhere and have peace and quiet and no fumes and not have to mess with fuel or generator maintenance.
Then again some folks think camping is having full hookups while they’re crammed in like sardines at an RV park.
Everyone likes something different.

Very impressive system! I also have a new 399th and looking to do a somewhat smaller but similar system. Do you have any pictures of the solar array layout on the roof?
