Clearsource rv water filters
I am finally going to pull the trigger on one next week. Looks like besides the 10% off for GRAND DESIGN owners they are offering a twin pack filter bonus......also found out it can be tilted to work also.....thinking of hinging it possibly so it is more out of the way until i need to replace cartridges......so i will probably get the "outside" version that takes regular hose fittings.....instead of using the one for pex connections.....spring project for sure for out move up to the Catskills end of March......

How are you getting a discount for being a Grand Design owner... Where are you getting the Clearsource Filter & system? I saw them on Amazon, but pricy....

The new issue of "Trailer Life" that just came has a big write-up on them. Price is a bit more than similar sized unit from "RV Water Filter Store". Cartridge replacement cost about double. Supposed to have slightly better flow, and sediment filtration is a bit better. Base unit uses double cartridges - sediment and activated charcoal. Rugged enclosure for connecting up outside the RV (they do have an internally mountable option, too). For things like rust, sulphur and other more advanced filtration you apparently need to substitute in specialized cartridges for the standard ones.

Where on the site? The only thing I see is a crawler at the top of a shopping cart page that says you get a free filter refill two-pack if ordering a complete system. Is there a discount code?
