    Airbags?

I have F150 with FX4 package and 1884lbs of payload capacity. Hooking it up to 2400BH and noticed that the vehicle doesn't squat at all. Obviously the suspension compresses, but it's all level when the trailer is attached. Do I need to get airbags for the rear suspension? Are they going to improve ride quality, eliminate the sway? The hitch is Equalizer E4 rated for 1200/12000lbs. I feel like skipping the airbags and investing money in something else.

If it sits level I’d say no airbags needed. I’ve only ever used airbags to level out the truck with a heavy trailer attached.

If you’re concerned about sway, investing in a rear sway bar is more advisable. This you won’t know till you tow and get the feel of the trailer.

    Airbags?

I agree, bags (and Timbrens) just level your truck and help with sway, but don’t add payload capacity.
I have Timbrens on the rear of my truck and they made a dramatic difference in how our trailer tows, in that the truck suspension no longer bottoms out on bumps or dips in the road and it eliminated the little sway I did have when cornering. Unloaded the truck rides like stock.

If you are getting sway with already having the Equalizer hitch, check your tires on the truck. Most newer 150/1500 series trucks come with P metric passenger tires on them. Switch to LT truck tires and it is much better.

I agree with above, truck tires would be the best improvement.
