That is why I asked if you kept them separate, if I connect one side of the light set to running and one side of the same set to turn it works just fine. Of if I connect the turn/brake to both and not the running then it works fine.
    Hi Brian,

    First of all . . . no apologies required . . . that's not how this forum works .

I wonder if you have wiring on one side done differently than wiring on the other side? For example, with wires completely disconnected on one side, do things work correctly on the other side? If the green and black are correct on one side, but reversed on the other side, this might create what you are seeing.

GREAT POINT!!!! I started with the passenger side and noticed when I moved to the driver side of the trailer that is were it comes from the front of the trailer then extends over to the passenger side. I will try wiring the driver side of the trailer first and see what happens.

Will say they are a huge improvement over the stock lights.

Appreciate the advice and guidance. Will post my comments after i try it.

I'd done the Bargman LEDs last May. I'd found them wired as Rob had.
After re-reading Rob's post about the wires being swapped I had to check mine again as I didn't make a note if I'd wired them right.
I'd forgotten about the brighter brake lights on the Bargman versus tail/running brightness.

Was able to peek at my right hand tail light wires from under the cabinet.
I did wire the Right hand one Brown to the 2 Black Bargman wires, the Green to the 2 Green Bargman wires, and White to White.
The Left hand has Red to the 2 Black, Green to the 2 Green Bargman wires, and the White.

Did a check with my DIY break out box so I could see the lights on.

This issue is EXACTLY why I'm so thankful GD didn't make things so easy for us when it came to DIY farkling. I mean, if things like wiring color conventions and the like were standard, where would be the challenge in that!!?? So......to GD Designers/Engineers (does GD have any real Engineers? Just asking...), I say bring it on. I'm semi-retired and don't have any other dang thing to do. Who's with me??
