For my old back and legs I'm constantly using heating pads when not standing.
Sitting at kit table I've got heating pad under legs & back.
In the car heating pad on the seat.
In the truck, heated seats.
And in bed heating pads under legs and back.- Gene

Thanks for asking.
What works best for me now is a TruContour Lumbar pillow and my heating pads.
With that I can do most what I need to, just pit stops for heat
Have tried several things over the years.
2010 - Lower Lumbar Nerve Decompression Surgery - took several years to get rid it's effects.
2008 - Ironman 4000 inversion table
2007 - ComforTrac Lumbar Home Traction
2004 - Leg troubles noticed.- Gene

Back in the 2005 timeframe my back pain was horrible if I stayed on my feet for any length of time. As a flightline supervisor, it was incredibly tough walking the line. I frequently "took a knee" while talking with subordinates because I couldn't stand up any longer.
To make a really long story short--it was my footwear! I deployed in 2006 and after a few weeks I realized that my back was feeling better. Why? Because I was wearing new desert camo boots. Ever since I make sure I buy quality shoes (and replace them frequently).
I still use my inversion table, though. Love that stretch on the back. I don't think it will fit in the passthru storage, though.2017 Ford F-350 DRW 6.7L Platinum
