Is there any issues with installing the Maxxair deluxe on a curved roof of the grand design. I am referring to that on the 2400bh, the bathroom fan is not centered on the roof like the common/ kitchen one. It is more to the back right of the trailer as it slopes downward.

The Max air fans were one of the first items I did with the trailer. I installed 2 4500K models. One in the bathroom. One in the Bedroom. I mounted the remotes in a good location for easy access. The bunk room on my unit got a Maxx air too but a manual version since getting to the vent is not too hard for anyone. All 4 Maxx airs got the vent covers as well. I learned on the 2 trip out with the trailer that rain, cooking and venting the kitchen area don't mix. When all of them are running, they do ventilate the trailer really nice. The other nice thing, we had one in our previous trailer for the bathroom. It definitely fought the stink. I had just installed one in the bedroom and then we traded in the trailer. both were manual with the Camco vents which were not integrated.

    nice work though.

Not a problem at all. We now have 3 Maxxair Maxxfans. On the 2600RB, I had to make a short run to power the bedroom fan. Oh, in the bathroom, Exhaust Only fans or you will regret it.

What would the disadvantage be installing the vent with air intake and exhaust out function.

    Howdy Ray,

When a family member hits intake (not exhaust) after they've done their business, it will create a lasting memory for the rest of the trailer.

Dangerous after pizza and beer to be sure!

Any updates on how you like the MaxxAir fan? Just bought one to put in.

I really like them. I had one develop a squeak but I put some spray lube on it and it went away. I leave them open and running (one intake and one exhaust) while driving. I think it helps in the heat of the summer to keep the rig a little cooler.

Looks like a job well done. I have mine sitting in a box waiting on a few good days of weather. It is my next mod. I hope it comes out as well as yours did.
Again well done and you tip about leaving the protective wrapping on is a good one. Thank you for posting.
