My 2016 337 came with 16" rims. I'm running Sailuns on them now.

Any tire that has a "G" in the rating. This is after 3 blowouts and 5 tires coming apart at the seams with "E" in the rating. The last 4 were Maxxis. The sidewalls on "E" rated tires are to weak. That" my "2" cents.

I switched to the Goodyear Endurance last year after a major failure on one of the Westlakes. Couldn't be happier. One of my co-workers just got some G-rated Sailuns and I must say I was very impressed with them as well when looking at the bare tires. Serious weight and sidewall thickness. His are the full steel wrap tires. Time and mileage will tell how they hold up. I have about 8K on my Goodyears so far and they still look great.

So, I've decided to put Goodyear Endurance on my 5er.

Question: under reasonable travel conditions and using proper storage techniques, how many miles should we expect to get out of these tires?

I don't know about mileage but you may hit age replacement time first. From what I have read on this forum is that it is a good idea to replace the tires after about 4 or 5 years regardless of how much tread is left. That would probably be by the date stamped in the tire from it's manufactured date.

337's are 16" tires. My 323BHS is about the same weight as the 337.

I went with Middle Tennessee produced Bridgestone Duravis R250's--about $200 at Costco. They're a ribbed tire and Michelin has a comparable tire at 110% of the cost of mine. The Sailuns are slightly cheaper, however there are relatively few Sailun dealers around right now.

The Duravis tires in comparison with the OEM tires are much, much thicker and much heavier in weight. I am thoroughly impressed with them. If mounted on a 3/4 ton or 1 ton truck, they're a 100,000+ mile tire.

Agree with Gary, they will most certainly time out before wearing out.

To me it depends on the trailer. If it was for a reflection 5ver or a travel trailer I would probably go with the Goodyear Endurance (e rated, 10 ply sidewall). With a Solitude/Momentum I would go with the G rated 14 ply Sailun's
