Least Favorite Instrument
Stealing from another thread to see what are people's least favorite instrument, sound wise, not hard to play wise, just hard to listen to. I'll start with my least favorite, the Vibraphone. Can't stand it 99% of the time. Second would be the Organ with a big exception: The Doors. The only time I ever liked the sound of the Organ was when Ray Manzarek played it.

Concertina (Squeezebox). Very blah, monotonous sound from them, at least the accordion has more octaves.

In the same vain as a concertina, the base saxophone and sousaphone , monotonous tones even though they have keys (sax) and valves (sousaphone).

I don't care for the sound of the Indian sitar. I love the sound of a calliope.

It's just a little joke. I like cowbell, especially in "Don't Fear the Reaper" by BOC. One of the funniest things I've seen on SNL.
