    Chirping sound ?

I hear constant chirping in my 385th toy hauler kitchen/living. Replaced battery in smoke detector in ceiling and still chirped; After not being able to sleep at night with chirping, I removed the battery and left the detector cover just hanging down. SOMETHING IS STILL CHIRPING!! No, it’s not the Carbon Mon detector, No it’s not the detector in the ceiling of the bedroom either. What could it be?

Are you plugged in at a 50amp service? What’s the time between chrips? Post a video if possible.

Propane detector. That is separate from Carbon Mon Detector and runs off of 12v NOT a removable battery.

And the chirping indicates the trailer battery is almost out of charge?

This detector is at the base of the kitchen island on the entry door side. It will chirp when house battery low.

Not sure how old your unit is but the LP detectors have a life span of about 5-6 yrs then need to be replaced. A chirp will tell you it is time. At least that is what happened with our older trailer.
