Here is my generator rack. Since I built this I got a 220rk and I put a Honda EU3000is on the rear. With the Easystart this generator easily runs the single a/c.

I have the same Champion generator. We were at the Balloon Festival last year and they required that all generators be at least 24 inches off of the ground. I built a stand with wheels that is the same height as the tailgate of the truck. I store the generator on the stand which makes it easy to move around. It also makes it a one person operation to put it in the bed of the truck. I just leave it there when camping.

I have one 30amp generator in the front compartment of the RV. I can add two 7 gallon propane tanks as well. When dry camping without using the furnace the RV will use very little propane. One 7 gallon tank will last a week. So I can use the two added 7 gallon tanks plus one of the onboard 7 gallon tanks all for the generator. I'm thinking I can get 4 days x 10 hours per day of generator use with that much propane. Thus, the limiting factor will be the water supply and not the generator/propane supply.
I like the logic, but in the real world does this measure up?
