I think we paid $175 for both the truck and Momentum in Yuma. They hand wax with Meguiars. For that price I'm OK with paying, otherwise not so much.

    Wax on / Wax off...

A timely topic for me doing exactly that right now. Former original owners never washed nor detailed my 337RLS, with appearance not looking like the quality RV that it is. Storms have let up, so I just completed the curb side having done the backside wall before 32" of snow fell week before last. Good thing I retracted the slides before that storm!

I'm using Meguiair's 1-step cleaner/wax which applies easily and comes off nearly so while up on a big ladder. This afternoon, I'll start detailing the plastic skirting and tomorrow repeat same process on the street side and front cap if energy allows. Its a big job, so I get why some just throw $$ at somebody else to do it for you. Maybe next time, me too...

Brian glad to see you babying that new beauty. I have always hand washed and waxed my own vehicles but this one is just too big for me to tackle plus I'm deathly afraid of heights so no way I'm washing the roof lol! I've used a mobile detail guy several times already on the 375 and at $ 5 bucks a foot its worth it to me, he does an amazing job top to bottom while its parked in my storage location. The last wash I had him do the spray wax/sealant on it and it feels like glass and shines like crazy. I figure a wax twice a year and wash when its dirty is well worth it, I plan on keeping this one 10 yrs or more....unless something even more amazing comes along lol.

Well, I didn't get the beer and sit outside and watch while the guy waxed my 5th wheel (and truck) but I still enjoyed watching somebody else sweat for five hours in the heat instead of me! I'm now sold on this deal of paying somebody else to do the grunt work of hand waxing. I'm still changing my own oil though!

See the reflection in the front cap???

Well, I got a 2nd wind after a late lunch and did another 1.5 hrs work. Did the curb side in the shade but after lunch, it had visible haze marks (especially on graphics) which I'll remove tomorrow morning in Round 3. Removing unsightly silicone sealant from exterior wall surfaces where splashed during assembly is adding to the total project time. Only one time for that though.

    What I'm using: Meguiar's® Marine/RV One-Step Cleaner Wax
What I'll use to remove wax haze plus add UV protection: Bow To Stern Protectant

Grand Design graphics (especially "oxblood" maroon) is much like the 1st 2011 Lance I bought used in year 2014, i.e., certain pigments are more susceptible to UV damage. For that Lance (and subsequent), I used the same cleaner/wax chased by BTS, which not only removed the wax haze but restored the graphics luster. Its good stuff...

We are those folks that elected to pay for the Ecopro exterior shield treatment before we took delivery. Were told we would never have to wax the camper. Yes I was a little skeptical but I have to say it works. Have not waxed since taking delivery July of 2017. Just washed twice so far at seasonal site and FW looks great still. We do store it indoors in off season.Get complements all the time on shine.

Had camper washed after winter storage. Shines like new with Ecopro treatment. That was almost 2 years ago. Never waxed.

What’s the cost of an Ecopro and what exactly is it?

Got a guy who has done it twice for me right in my driveway. $180 wash and hand wax with Mothers or Meguires, your choice. I gave him $200. Best part is not having to move the rig from it's parking spot in my driveway.
