Removing DRW rear center caps
If you have a dually, and havent tried removing the rear center cap, it's a huge pain. Not sure about other brands, but my Ford owners manual says to use one of the bars that is used to lower the spare as a prybar for removing the center cap, it doesnt work. Previously I used some 90° needle nose pliers and they worked ok.
I recently found this tool and finally got around to trying it out today, works great and much easier than the pliers.

I used a ratchet strap and 2x4. Worked great.

Got back to the campground after an errand minus one center cap. I’ll have 2 extra clips after I replace it though. Ford rotated my tires recently and I suspect a poor clip job on that center cap.

I also lost one awhile back. Finally got around to ordering another one. It lasted a couple of hundred miles. For a hunk of plastic they sure are pricey.

Interesting cuz mine pull right off. Maybe fewer grabbers on mine.
Since my "fix" I have been on some very rough roads and I haven't lost any more

I bought the Steelman 75031 about a month after I got the truck. My rear caps are very tight.

Just received my Steelman 75031 hub cap remover and it is to wide to fit the slot on my 2018 DRW caps. Going to grind it down a bit to fit.
