    Is this normal

We have a 2019 2250 RK and on the passenger side the wall studs are visible as bumps on the entire side. Is this normal? You can see and feel them with your hand. It looks terrible but the dealer told me it’s “normal”.

    Hi badger,

Welcome to this forum BTW .

There are a few different ways to add pictures . . . There is an “insert image” tab (third from the right above your text area) that works for some . . . but not for others. I find the simplest is to hit the "Go Advanced" tab on the lower right of a new post and scroll down to "Manage Attachments" Then "Add Files", "Choose File" and “Upload”. Another way is to use a photo posting utility such as http://photoposting.is-great.net/?i=3 to add a larger picture to the text section of your post.

I have that on mine as well. I have them running down the length as well. Nothing seems to be delaminating on mine so far. Not sure how normal though.

I’m out camping and can’t load decent pics due to being on mobile not a computer. It looks odd to me and the dealer said it was normal and would go away in warmer weather.

    Hi badger,

A horizontal bulge like that is relatively unusual. I would keep an eye on it and if it doesn't change, it is probably fine. Vertical lines are relatively common. The wall structure is laminated from an outer layer of fibreglass, then a layer or two of very thin luan plywood, then the aluminum frame with rigid foam insulation, then the inside luan plywood surface and wall paper. To see a vertical joint between the pieces of luan under the fibreglass skin or even a vertical frame member is not uncommon.

At certain temperatures and humidity levels (frost?) it is normal to see the outline of the aluminum frames highlighted on the outside of the camper. Here's a recent reference to the phenomenon: https://www.mygrandrv.com/fo...l=1#post220338

Not sure based on your pics if this is what you're seeing.

If you catch just the right morning . . . this is what you will see in the dew on the outside of the trailer. The internal aluminum framing becomes clearly visible.
