When I check a Ford connector I just use a small mirror. Never have figured out why they put them on like they. It is a bit of an aggravation.

Just went and checked on my new 2019 the notch is on the bottom for the bumper 7-way, and the notch is on the top in the bed 7-way. I assume the bumper one is upside down due to the hinge configuration to allow the dual plug insert (Flat and 7-way).

So here’s the other issue I’m having, when I do put the tester in upside down and check it, all the lights work but then I get an error on the dashboard stating there’s a blinker error and the blinker starts blinking quickly as if it has blown a fuse when in fact it has not. Has anyone encountered this?
