What brand of Grease is best
Hello GD’ers
Well, I’m installing a wet bolt system in a couple weeks along with the Moryde CR3000.
Can anybody suggest the best synthetic grease I can buy?
Thanks in advance

I have always used Lucas Red "N" Tacky Grease on wet bolts. I get mine from Walmart.

+2 Lucas Red N Tacky #2 , Mobile synthetic is ok also.
But if you want to win the best of toys award you will need a Powered Grease Gun.

Mobil 1 synthetic wheel bearing grease. Exceeds specifications from Lippert and Dexter on wheel bearings and works well on chassis also.

Hi Sarge,
Not sure if you’ve read all the reports of greasy brakes on the older design LCI axles. Some of the reasons were thought to be thin grease, bad seals, or too much grease. Anyway, be careful using the easy lube fitting for the wheel bearings. Better yet, don’t use them, as many of the experienced owners do. Just repack the old fashioned way. You run the chance of damaging the bearing seal in the rear of the hub, which would cause the grease to leak out, probably cotaminating your brakes, making them useless. When you repack by hand, you also get to see what condition your brake pads are in, as well as the bearings. You can also adjust brakes if necessary.Steve & Sue (pups:Sky & Sierra) Gardnerville, Nv

I’ve been using AMSOIL grease on my bearings and wet bolts. It’s very high quality synthetic. If I didn’t have that option, I would likely use the red and tacky since so many recommend it.
