    Retirement Present - 230RL

Purchased a Reflection 230RL this Saturday as part of my retirement prep. Looking forward to getting this rig on the road in a couple of weeks. We have a trip planned for late May/early June to Carlsbad Caverns, the Grand Canyon and then on up into Utah to visit at least a couple of the national parks there.

Very excited about the rig and the trip. Looking forward to learning from the folks on this forum.

Congrats on the new rig. I’m done the end of this year. I’ll make a few practice runs before then.

Congrats and welcome to the forum! I'm looking forward to exploring those areas, too, someday soon. The DW and I are our first post-retirement trip right now (Myrtle Beach, SC and then Gloucester, VA).

    I can hardly wait

It’s now less than two weeks away. We drive from Michigan to Florida to pick up our first RV (350M). I’ve got a couple of things to get done upon our arrival, hopefully that all goes as planed. Then after three days in a park in Florida, my wife my Dad (96yrs young) and myself head back to Michigan. We have reservations near Savanna and then near Gatlinburg, after that we’ll be winging it. I’ve been preparing for months and now the time has nearly arrived.

Congrats on the purchase. Make sure to check your route near the Smokey Mtns ahead of time. I've camped a few times on the East side of the mountain and some of those roads are not the best suited for a long and tall trailer. Best thing to do is check your route against truck routes and maps. If the route isnt restricted for a truck you should be ok.
