Flat Top Griddle Cooking at the Campground
Anyone else cooking with a flat top griddle at the campground? We got a Blackstone griddle at the end of our last season and although we have only had about 5 big family meals on it so far we have liked it. Everything from stir fry to burgers to bacon, eggs and pancakes. Anyone else have any favorite griddle recipes?

Peppers, Onions, and Smoked Sausage is always a hit with my camping friends. Fried Potatoes is another one.

Kids gave us a Blackstone for Christmas. We love it and use a 20# tank. We've only used it for breakfast so far but it rocks!!!!

I got the 17" version from Amazon.came with a cover and carry bag. I recommend getting the adapter hose to use larger tanks. Also Amazon , or Weber brand from HD.

Is the Blackstone grill better then a cast iron griddle?

Been using 17" Blackstone for about year now; have it connected to low pressure propane port on camper. Best thing about the Blackstone is you can cook just about anything on it and it is easy to clean.

I have not used one , but do have a steel griddle I use on my Camp chef, it is a little lighter than the cast iron and I think a little easier to maintain. The only con I have with the Black Stone is it does not have a round burner if I want to use a pan or skillet, but do like them for the smaller size.
