Good point, if this is your first RV or fifth wheel, best thing to do is find an empty parking lot to practice and learn how the trailer turns, backs up, and learn your tail swing. Most importantly, always look up, the Momentums are the same height as a big rig, so you need to pay attention to low clearance signs and tree branches at campgrounds and residential area roads.

If not your first, then you prob already know what you should be doing.

I know good advice when I hear it ! I’ll make sure to gather all the patience I can find around here and take it with me. I’ve made several new friends in PA. through biking that I need to visit eventually, I’ll pm you when that happens.

Yes on both, first RV, first fifth wheel.
Have borrowed some traffic cones from work for this very purpose.

We will be taking a week to get home after spending three days in Florida to get set up.
Here’s the list. No particular order.
Changing the pin box to a Reese goose box, all essential hardware
TPMS for RV (truck has its own)
    Snap pads
    Portable air compressor
    Surge protector
    Back up camera
    New grill/griddle
    Water pressure reg./filter
    Tire step for truck
Power cords, wheel chocks, poop hoses come with unit.
Might buy new fresh water hoses just because and coax cable for tv
All tools and emergency gear already in inventory.
    Two way radios, check.

I see y'all mentioned electrical cords, but We found a couple camp grounds on our trip from Indiana to Florida with only 30 amp hookups, and we had to use the 30 to 50 dog bone connector.
