Today is the day our plans come to fruition!
A lot of years of working, raising children and saving, then a couple of years of RV and truck shopping, then getting things rigged the way we wanted. On to a new adventure for us as we both retire today!

Congratulations and welcome to life in the slow lane!
It is a transition. DW and I are camping on the Guadalupe River, today’s big decision: do we stay here and fly fish for trout or head to the Llano River where the White bass are hitting?Jeff and Mary

Congratulations. But I'll give you a glimpse of the future. You're not really "retiring". You'll find out you're just as busy as when you were working. It's amazing how we find ways to keep busy and enjoy life. Ginnie and I have been "retired" for five years now, and I'm still wondering when we'll slow down. Enjoy your new freedom.

Congratulations John and Kathy! I hope you both enjoy NOT waking up to an alarm clock as much as we do.

That’s great new! Congratulations! Yes, retirement is great as long as you have other interests. I also am busier now than when working, but a fun busy!

My wife put a sign on the fridge that says "A retired husband is a wife's full-time job". Enjoy your retirement.

Congratulations on your retirement, and hopefully it is everything you expect it to be...and more! Mine is only about a year away (Probably mid April 2020), and my wife has been retired since Oct. 2017....so I'm more than ready to join her.
And on a side note.....there is one bad thing about retirement, you never have a scheduled day off!!2016 F350 CrewCab Dually
